Application: This product is used in mines where methane–air mixtures and coal dust are present and where there is a risk of explosion, serving as the power distribution equipment for electrical loads such as underground pump stations, conveyors, and mining machines.
Features: One type features an explosion-proof, top-opening cover design and is used for products rated 800 kVA and above; the other type features an explosion-proof, double-ended opening cover design and is used for products rated 630 kVA and below. The enclosure sides are constructed from corrugated steel plates, while the enclosure bottom is made of thick steel plate. Both the high- and low-voltage terminal boxes are welded to the two ends of the enclosure.
